The Improved Video Display holds back iframe embeds until the user wants to see them. It helps massively with page loading times and performance numbers.
To use it, it works like this:
[sdch_video image='https://web321co.b-cdn.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Web321_Logo_New-horizontal.png' width=480 height=270] <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/6PDBYReigtc" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> [/sdch_video]
Take your Youtube embed and wrap the shortcode around it:
- the image arg is the ref# or the url of the thumbnail image
- the width and height of the intended image size.
